  • What are you Putting in your Body? Back

    What are you putting in your body everyday? 

    For the longest time I drank about 8 cups of coffee in the morning.  Then around lunchtime I would eat a steak sandwich or a bagel, then maybe some more coffee, then dinner. Dinner would be fish or pasta, and of course, can't leave out the vino! Besides the 8 cups of coffee in the morning my diet didn't sound too bad, right? Wrong! 

    My diet, according to the PH chart was extremely acidic. Most experts believe that an acidic environment is where disease flourishes. We all remember PH from 10th grade chemistry class: PH is the measure of the acidity or alkalinity of something. Here's some well known symptoms of over acidity:

    • Constant Fatigue

    • Shortness of Breath

    • Muscle Pain or Cramping

    I believe in life balance is extremity important, especially with diet and exercise. I still eat foods which are acidic but now I balance with foods and drinks which are alkaline and I've never felt better! Check out the PH chart to see if your scale it tipped one way or the other. Experts say your diet should consist of about 75% alkaline foods and 25% acidic.  Start feeling better today!
