Giving back (viewer discretion advised)

Our culture here at Destination Motivation believes in giving back to those in need. Each quarter we choose a new project and dedicate time and resources into helping that cause.

Last quarter we dedicated resources to an extremely worthy cause called Mariam's Fund.  In Pakistan as a result of poverty, some parents sell their children as slaves just to keep from starving to death. Children as young as 4 years old are sold to work in brick factories, rope factories, agriculture and prostitution.  In just the brick factories alone, it is estimated that there are over 2 million Christian slave children. The children are subject to incredible cruelty. Slave owners beat, rape, starve, sell their organs (such as kidneys), and prostitute their slaves, even as small children.

Through the efforts of Mariam’s fund thousands of children have been provided with proper housing among local families, quality education, and a community of caring people in small Christian churches.  These three elements allow children in poverty to rise above their conditions, to secure good jobs, and to create a better life for themselves and their families.

If you'd like to join us and help out, please feel free to contact us to learn more.  Or visit http://www.mariamsfund.org/
